retrieving word documents

Hi, our son copied 'unkosher' things on WORD and tried to get rid of the
program afterwards. He got rid of the icon, the start program Word icon too
but we could always open a document using an existing word document and
opening another page.

I want to retrienve old word documents that have to be in the system to find
what our son was copying.

Can anyone help me?

You can use Windows Search to search for *.doc. You can also search for
winword.exe and, when you find it, create a new desktop or Start menu
shortcut.

Thanks for this. Now I need to retrieve a document that I believe my son
copied and pasted without our knowledge. It is in the computer but we do not
know where. How do we retrieve a word document that we know was created but
we do not know its title and it was done sometime in the last month?
