retrieving old mail

I recently had a new pc built, but my old one had outlook on, and e-mails i
desperately need to get back, but it turns out my old hard-drive has been
destroyed!!
how can i get back these mails?

i have back ups of everything else, but didn't realise i would need to retrieve mail from two years ago!! surely, these mails must be somewhere and available to find somewhere in cyberspace!!

Nope - not if you deleted them from the mail server.

The mails were not deleted so must still be on server!

I would bet big money that they were. Outlook no doubt deleted them
when they were retrieved for reading.

You can prove that for yourself by accessing your email account via
the web. If the messages were not deleted, they will still be there.

Don't come back here whining if they are gone, asking us if there is
any way to get them back.
