I recently bought a new computer complete w/ a WD Raptor SATA harddrive, but want to take files from my old Maxtor HD, namely the ones in "My Documents". Now I've been told that I have to take ownership but there is a problem, it seems that I do not get a security tab in my properties of ther folder that I select. I JUST installed XP and there are no other users on my computer, I remember writing my password and everything for administrator rights yet I cannot log in via safe mode. I'm using XP Pro.
