Retrieving doc with date created

How do I retrieve a document showing the date it was created and not the
current date to be able to print?
The current date always shows up.
 
Press Alt+F9 to reveal the field code. Change DATE to CREATEDATE. Alt+F9 to
toggle back and F9 to update.
