Retrieving compressed e-mails

Hello,
I compressed my e-mails (messages etc) accidentally!
I opened windows mail and there is nothing!
How do i retrieve them back?
Please i need your assistance as soon as possible!

I never have such experience. But I did have installed a few programs which
came " zipped ". What I did was; right click on the program, click Extract.
I also have a 7- Zip software to " un-zip ". Not sure this will help you.

There is not a function in WinMail to compress emails. If you compacted the
database, then that only compacts the database and does not affect the
individual messages. Search for *.eml and you should find them. Also

Check out the view menu>current view, while viewing each folder in turn.

Ensure that view all messages is selected for each folder.

Did you interrupt the compaction (compress) function prior to it completing?
