Outlook 2003 : I kept an unsend text in "drafts" for months, edited and saved
this file dozens of times during the last few months, never sent. The last
time I edited it, I accidentally clicked the save button when I clear most of
the content. how can I retrieve the previously saved version of this file ?

How about you go to the Sent items folder and cut and paste the old text
back in?

Make a few spare copies in the future so you never edit the last one! In
Drafts. Ctrl C to copy then Ctrl V to paste.

You can always use Ctrl+Z (undo) as long as you haven't exited the message.

I already clicked "save" button and exited the message, that's why i want to
retrieve the previous saved message.

There are no "previous versions", since it's not a file. Unless you used
this draft to send a mesage and you have a copy of that sent message, you
screwed yourself.
