retrieve email message office 2007

How do I stop/retrieve a message in Office 2007? I sent an email with a very
large attachment (sent via Adobe) and it is taking forever to send. I'd like
to cancel it.
 
Try clicking in the Send/Receive status in the lower right corner and choose
"Cancel ..."
File | Work Offline and deleting it from the Outbox might also help.
