I was deleting google toolbar on my computer and accidentally deleted the
next thing which was my intel graphics driver. Is there anyway to go back
and retreive it.

You could try download and running REST2154 from
http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dlrestoration.html

It does the following:

"Restores files, which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted while
holding down the Shift key by mistake".

And I've had some reasonable success in recovering newly deleted files with
it - but there are other programs that do the same thing.

System Restore

I did that but nothing seemed to happen. We are on a network, would that
make a difference?

Try System Restore to before the removal of Google and you need to remove it
again from the Control panel Add/Remove.
If you still then you need to know the specs of your intel Graphics Card and
download from Intel website the latest driver and go to Device Manager and
Remove the Graphics Card then Reboot.
Windows will detect your Graphics card and ask you what do you want to do [
Let windows install the driver or you can select I have a Disk]
HTH.
Let us know.

The OP was "deleting" the Google toolbar from Add/Remove programs I
suspect....that operation does not involve the Recycle bin.....

Gordon,

It is not restricted to those 'deleted via the recycle bin'. It's works
just fine on files that have been deleted by other methods such as using
Shift+Delete, floppies etc - and possibly using the uninstall function
(Ihave not tried it after using that).

Whilst I also suspected that he had possibly used the uninstall function, it
is also possible that the OP had simply DELETED the program - it has been
known! I also presumed (due to the lack of information) that the OP may
well have tried System Restore and failed - for any number of reasons - to
recover the file.

But I find that it's always best to try something simple first - before
using a sledgehammer to crack the proverbial nut - and that's the simplest
way, if REST can see the deleted file, then it MAY be able to recover it!

But if KVoffice hasn't already tried System Restore...then it should be
tried first (presuming of course that he has XP and not Windows98. :-)
