retieve sent e mail?

Is there any way to retrieve a message you have sent to the wrong person
before they get it. I hope so. I am using microsoft office outlook

I suggest you ask in the Outlook forum, this one is for Word.
Personally I dont think this function is available, if you find out
otherwise, please come back.

This is indeed the Word newsgroup, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

Find the message in your Sent Items folder and open it. The next bit depends
on which version of Outlook your running, but look for an action that says
something like "Recall this message". Then just follow the prompts...

However, there's no guarantee that it will work. If the message has already
been read you're out of luck. And if it's been sent to an Exchange server,
the recipient will probably get a message saying that you want to recall the
message and giving them the option to allow it to be recalled or not.
