Resume after Hibernation

I have a few machine, which are the same spec, running
windows 2000, and I want them to go into Hibernation after
they have been running for 1 hour. I have managed to get
half of the machines.

On the machines that will not do it properly, here is what
happens: It goes into hibernation with no problems, when
you turn the machine back on, it will not resume windows
again, just freezes.

The only difference that I have managed to find is that
the ones that work do not have an option for APM in the
power setttings, if you disable this on the machines with
it on, then your option for hibernation disappears.

I have compared the bios settings for the machines and
they seem to be setup the same.

Any help on this problem would be really appreciated.

Cheers

Jason

Are the BIOS revisions the same? You may want to flash them all to the most
current OEM version...

I have found some more machines that have this problem,
and it definitely seems to have something to do with APM.
Does anybody know how to remove this function without
loosing the abilty to go into Hibernation.

Cheers

Sorry, their inseperable.

My $.02, I ususally do without ACPI, APM, and hibernation in any kind of
SOHO or bigger environment. Just saves me tons of admin headaches.
