Restrictions?

I have just attached an mp3 player via usb. It found the hardware, etc., and
is now listed in My Computer as Removable Disk (H). I'm supposed to be able
to drag and drop to this drive, but when I do, or click the drive, it says:
RESTRICTIONS - "The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in
effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." We only
have one account, not multiples, and I have set NO restrictions. How do I
fix this...it's never happened with anything before.

Just a guess, but I would check Group Policy: Computer Configuration ->
Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options.
The Devices section -- check permissions on "Allowed to format and eject
removable media." I would also just poke around in Group Policy and see if
there are any other security restrictions set on removable or USB media;
there's a lot of stuff in there...

Thanks for the advice Linda...but it still did not allow it after changing
the setting to Administrators & Interactive Users. I haven't never seen that
before.
