Hello!
I'm trying to configure my company LAN so that users can access
certain files from the central server and rewrite them back to the
same server, but not be able to store those files (or file types)
locally on their workstations!
Can anyone please provide any help as to how this can be done?

Thanks so much

Well this might not be exactly what you want, but Windows SteadyState
(free from Microsoft) will change any XP or Vista computer into a dumb
terminal. And the users can't store anything on the local computer.
