Restricted sites magically added to IE6

I've found a whole list of sites in my IE6 > Security > Restricted Sites box,
but I didn't add them. Does IE6 automatically include a list of certain
restricted sites by default, or might my anti-spyware software have added the
sites without me knowing it?

IE6 doesn't do that but some anti-spyware does.
Spybot perhaps?

Hi Alan
That is interesting - I have noticed quite a few in mine - wondered how they
got there on their own - I don't have spybot - could MS antispyware have put
them there(the beta1 not Defender) or maybe Ad-Aware?

Probably AdAware - MSAS perhaps was not that clever ;-)
Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the reply. I did install Spybot and AdAware some time ago, maybe
one or both of them is responsible. Although nowadays I use MS
AntiSpyware/Windows Defender anyway.

Spyware Blaster definitely does this, and I suspect that other
anti-spyware products may also do it.
