Restrict Sharing using group policy

Hi

I use windows 2000 server as my domain server and clients are windows XP
pro. Some of the users in my domain have admin rights. So they create their
own shares. I want to restrict the sharing option for those users using group
policy.

Please help me to solve this issue....

Thanks in advance

If users have admin rights, they can do whatever thay want - that is what
admin rights is all about. The way to go about this with group policy is to
make them non-admins, then grant them rights as required. User rights are at
the domain level in default domain policy and default domain controllers
policy.

Why they have local admin rights is because .net never runs with user rights.
It does not even run on power users. Is there any other solutiuon ?
