Restrict Out-of-office to internal contacts

OL2003. One of my users would like to restrict his out-of-office message to
just go to senders within our organisation. I think that our Exchange admins
could probably do this restricting (judging from other messages in this
forum) but a Rule would seem more sensible. How can I/he set up an OOO rule
that replies to messages from within the domain (e.g. *.ourfirm.com) but not
to any others?
Thank you in advance for considering this.

That's the default setting for Exchange, so presumably one of your Exchange
admins changed it.- unfortunately, (not being an Exchange Expert) I don't
think you can set this as a per-user setting - it's either all or none...

In addition to what Gordon says, I doubt you'd be able to test for
"outfirm.com", since, internally, Exchange doesn't use internet addresses.

Thank you both for your quick and clear responses. Just after I posted it, I
recognised my error in using an internet address in my example, but I will go
back to the Exchange side for this. I suspect the user hasn't thought through
banning *all* internet addresses in his OOO anyway.

Thank you for this Diane. I will be able to talk with my Exchange admin using
the right words now!

I have a follow-up that I'll post separately
