Hello,

I would like to know the exact location of registry that control
RestrictAnonymousAccess. I find that I updated as zero to force
permission level for file sharing. However after rebooting the setting
may change itself. Are there anything wrong during my setup?

Thank you for your kindly attention.

Best rgds,

J,

I think that's a local security policy. You can find it in
Control Panel, Computer Administration.

Are you using Simple File Sharing? This may have a bearing on
that policy. Which operating system do you use?

Hello,

I've tried to apply the changes at Control Panel, but it seems not work.
The only effective solution is registry modification. However, after
server reboot, the original setting comes out.

p.s. I disabled Simple File Sharing but it activates again after reboot.
And the server OS is Win XP Pro.
