I installed a program to clear out temp and back-up files
and somehow it erased the Windows XP Style Option from the
Appearence section in the Display Properties and I am now
stuck in Windows Classic View.

I've tried System Restore but it didn't work. Please help
me restore this without having to reinstall the whole
operating system.

Many thanks in advance..

I forgot to put in the message that Windows XP Style has
been REMOVED from the menu...

Try the following:

Go to Start > Run and type: SERVICES.MSC , and hit enter.
Scroll down to "Themes", right-click on this service
and select Properties > Startup type > Automatic,
then click Apply.
