Restoring System

I have disabled System Restore, rebooted, enabled System Restore, rebooted.
Tried System Restore and still it will not restore. Looks as if I will have
to go to the recovery disk of my computer.

When you disable System Restore it wipes out all of your previous restore
points. So you will only be able to restore back to the last time you
disabled and re-enabled it.
When you go to disable it there is a warning dialog telling you this.
