Restoring Outlook 2003 files from OneCare backup

I had a computer crash. It used XP, and I backed up files using OneCare to a
external hard drive. My new computer has Vista. When I restored all files
using the OneCare restore feature, the Word files, PowerPoint files, Excel
files all were restored. However, only some of my Outlook files were
restored. All the calendar was restored, all the contacts were restored, but
only a small part of the emails. Any suggestions on what went wrong? Or how
to fix it? I can't find the pst files on the external drive, because all the
files are zipped files.

Mail is stored in the same file as Calendar and contacts so you apparently
got everything that was in the default pst.

Were you archiving email?
