Restoring dllhost.exe

I have removed dllhost.exe file due to virus problems.
After that java applets are not running ininternet
explorer. Is there any link between the two?
Further, I want to download the dllhost.exe file and
place it at the appropriate place. Where can I get the
file for download please

you may already have another copy on your harddrive in
c:\windows\system32\dllcache -
if it's there, simply copy it to c:\windows\system32.

If it's not there, you should be able to expand a file using
the tool MSCONFIG. You'll probably need your xp cdrom for that.

First - the good one is abut 5K and should be in windows\system32. The
'bad' one is bigger and puts itself in system32\wins

If you have removed both the proper one and the one in system32\dllcache
(And I think you may have, or that dllcache one would have been copied
back immediately) then Start - Run and run MSConfig.exe

Click the Expand file button, and expand from the CD Rom,
i386\dllhost.ex_ to C:\windows\system32\dllhost.exe
And into windows\system32\dllcache.exe too for safeguard in any future
case where it gets damaged
