restoring dll file

Greetings,
Got message that msxml.dll was an invalid image file and
should be restored from installation cd from one of my
utillity programs. How might one file be retreived from
my Windows Cd?

start => run

=> type msconfig and press return

=> click on expand file or extract file

you will need to know where the file can be found and where it is supposed
to be
