How do I read my backed-up data created from Windows 98? I have numerous
burned CD's full of ".QIC" files created withthe Windows 98 "Backup/Restore"
Utility. The Windows XP Backup/Restore doesn't read these files.

Correct. You'll need to find another computer running Windows 98 or ME.

Hi Tom,

The backup utilities in WinXP and Win98 are not compatible. Each utility
was designed to restore files to the operating system they were created
on.
