Restoring after fresh install.

hi,

I am backing up using ntbackup.exe on windows 2000 server. During
restoration of files I use the DLT catalog which shows the media created on
that particular date.

If I freshly install windows 2000 again, how do I restore the backup, if the
catalog is not present ?

NTBackup will just build a catalog from the contents of tape. It takes a
little longer but it works fine.
