Restore

I had to restore my computer back to the oprginal factory
settings, is there anyway to get back any files/ I want
my recent digital pictures. I had a backup disk but the
most recent stuff is not on it.
 
If you used the set of recovery CDs that came with your computer, the first
thing they do is erase your hard disk. You should have asked this question
before you started
