Restore points

I am trying to restore my system but am only being offered points set today.
How can I get back to older restore points?

To store restore points, you need at least 300 megabytes (MB) of free space
on each hard disk that has System Protection turned on. System Restore might
use up to 15 percent of the space on each disk. As the amount of space fills
up with restore points, System Restore will delete older restore points to
make room for new ones.

You may have so many made today that the old ones aged off.

Thank you. I have plenty of free space on both discs, although I noticed that
the system created five restore points yesterday (I only created one)

Restore points are automatically created when various changes are made. For
example, installing or removing programs and hardware.
