After my xp crashed and would not allow booting normal or
safe mode, I reinstalled xp. The computer is running but
all programs, while in folders, are not able to boot up.
Additionally the old restore points were not listed.
However I found a list of folders called rp from 1
through 61. How can I restore RP60? I tried run>restore
rp60, but that did nothing.

Any help sent to (e-mail address removed) would be appreciated.

Restore points are stored in the hidden System Volume Information folders,
not in any numbered folders beginning with the letters rp. Those folders are
something else.

When you reinstall Windows there is no need for earlier restore points so
they are erased.
