Restore point oddity?

I have multilple drives installed on Vista Home Premium but I only
want the main C drive to have system restore set. Easy you would think
but when I look in the system restore window it tells me that it has
set a restore point for both c and j? Ok so I click J/apply and it
gives me the message 'Do you reallt want to turn off etc" I say
yes/OK. All restore points on J vanish as expected. Right then create
a new restore point. All goes fine BUT it creates a restore point on
the J drive againas well as the C drive!! How can I turn off system
restore on the J drive ( a SATA drive) permanently?

No matter how many times I go through this, confirming that I don't
want SR on this drive, it still creates one!!

cheers,
Len

Len,

Control Panel, System, System Protection. Select the drives you want
restore points applied to.
Have a nice day.
