restore personal address book

Hi, I purchased a new CLIE Sony handheld, and when
synchronizing, somehow my entire personal address book in
Outlook 2000 disappeared. I worked with Sony tech support
and they don't know how that could have happened. Their
only answer is that there must have been a problem with
the Outlook database -- perhaps there was a 'fault' in it
or something.

In any case, I'm hoping someone can help me. Please email
me at (e-mail address removed) with any help. I found and
read from the MS knowledge base an article (Q195719) How
to Back Up, Restore, or Move Outlook Data. Unfortunately,
since i don't have the 'corporate' or 'workgroup' option,
this particular article can't help me and I can't find any
others even close in description.
Please help. This happened on July 3 and I desperately
need all this contact information back.

Respond to (e-mail address removed) please.

You'll need to provide more accurate information as to what happened.
You say you are using IMO mode of Outlook 2000, yet that mode doesn't even
support the Personal Address Book Service.
Did you check to see if synchronizing with Outlook is even supported in IMO
mode?
