Restore from .qic

I backed up my old laptop using the Windows98 backup
utility to a .qic file which I now see isn't readable by
the WindowsXP backup/restore software provided on the cd
provided by the manufacturer. Is there any way of
executing this .... retore to WindowsXP from a .qic file?
