restore files

is ther a way I can restore my favourites folder because
scandisk on xp startup thought it was corrupt and saved
it as favourites.000 there is a lot I would like out of
it if a partial recovery is possible or whole recovery.

I thankyou for your help in advance
 
it might not have been corrupt but just said something
like missing fragments.
i cant remember what it said now but something like this

Use Search to look for *.url to see if you can locate a copy of your
Favorites. (Or Favor*, for the same reason.)
