Restore file system

Anyone know of a way to restore the format of a 20gb FAT32
partition in a way that would allow recovery of previous data?
Normally, I'd try to use file recovery software, but this is a
system partition.

The system is currently not bootable, of course, but it appears
that the partition info is still intact. Recovery Console reports
that 'an error occurred during directory enumeration.' Other tools
indicate that the file system is unrecognized.

I suspect that a few crucial bytes of partition info were corrupted,
so maybe there's a way to re-flag the partition as a valid FAT32.

you have access to a copy of lost & found? works great for me
i never did like fat32

I have the exact same problem. I have a partition that I can't acces
now and it keeps telling me "RAW File System" under properties. I
happened by itself.

How do I access lost & found to fix the problem ? is there a detaile
guide ?
