restore error - rstrui.exe not found

In attempting to do a restore, I recieved a blue box
warning that stated "The procedure entry point
RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located
in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll" I was unable to
get into the restore program. Any help to reset my
restore so that I can perform that operation? Thanks in
advance.

Ensure in Folder Options - View that you can see Hidden and system
files. Then go to
C:\windows\inf\sr.inf
right click on it and take Install - it may need the CD in the drive to
get new copies of files
