Hi, I wanted to create a restore point on my XP Home edition PC.
I haven't done one for about six months, this was before I was going to do a
defrag and some program deletions.
Did all the right things; Start > All Programs > System tools etc., Clicked
on the System restore program, an Hourglass did one flip and that's all, the
program did not run. I've tried alsorts to get it to run, this is the first
time it's failed. I even searched for the file - rstrui.exe - clicked on it
and tried to "Open" it, same thing - nothing.
Help. TIA, colin D.

Fixed, found out that the .dll's it needed was not available, I had tried
using a Dll Cache program. you know, it puts little used dlls into a
sub-directory, then if you find out you don't need them ata ll you can
delete them, luckily I hadn't deleted them yet. So I restored the all dlls
and un-installed the Dll Cache program, I don't need that kind of hassle.
Thx, anyway. Colin D.
