restore dates

My system will not allow me to designate any restore points before February
4, 2006. I have tried to create a restore point but when I activate restore,
I get the same February 4th restore point.

I am trying to get back as far as January 14, 2006.

The month calendar will not allow me to use the backup arrow so I cannot get
a January start point.

What can I do to correct this condition?

Hi,

Once it's gone, it's gone. System Restore will only keep just so many
points, and these are dependent on a number of factors including the size of
each point, frequency, allotted drive space, etc. When new ones are created,
old ones are deleted. You are limited to going back to only those that have
not been replaced by newer points.
