Restore Computer

I have an emachines desktop. I have been trying to restore my computer with
the restore cd that was provided with the desktop but I still cant. When i
try to do it, some kind of error message comes up about symantec 7.0. I have
no idea what that is. What am i supposed to do in order to fix this so that i
can restore my computer.

Somebody please help me!

Try uninstalling Symantec before you try the restore.

We can't tell, based on the sparse information provided. At what
precise point does the installation fail? What *specific* error
message(s) do you get? What changes, if any, did you make to the
computer's hardware or software configuration immediately prior to the
onset of the problem? What specific troubleshooting steps have you
already taken, and what were the results of each? What steps has
eMachines technical support already had you perform?

No one can help if you don't provide at least a modicum of information.

ppl here don't often use restore cds. do yourself a favour and get a
windows cd.
