restore AD

What are the steps to restore the AD on a different
hardware, successfully>
 
I've tried both of these, but they don't seem to work.
Once the server is up, it sees itself as an DC but I can't
even launch the AD or DNS.
 
What do you mean when it says "it sees itself as an DC"
What are the errors that you get when trying to open AD or DNS?
When booting into normal mode do you get any error messages?
Are you having any problems with any services starting?
