Restarting On It's Own

I am running XP with all upgades etc, AMD 1700 with 512 of Ram.
Whenever I shut down the computer, it will restart again maybe 10 or 15
minutes later. I have my suspisions of a virus, but I ran Norton Antivirus
2005 and AVG 7 Pro. There were no viruses. I also ran Spy Sweeper and
Spysubtract. Everything is clean. Any ideas?

Check your bios, you might have a wake on ring turned on, or something else,
look for your wake up events. be careful in the bios, it can be dangerous
grounds.
