Did you use the System Configuration Utility to start the computer in Safe Mode,
if you did:
1. Click Start, and then click Run. The Run dialog box appears.
2. Type msconfig and then click OK.
3. The System Configuration Utility appears. Uncheck the "/SAFEBOOT" option, and
then click OK.
Restart as you normally would.
