Response Time

When opening Outlook Express, I clocked it at 1 min 39
sec to watch the first pop-up "Outlook Express" screen
and then another 40 sec or more to have in ppulate the
screen with inbox, outbox etc. Why is it taking so long?
I have no other response problems with any other software.
 
Try asking this question in one of the Outlook Express forums as this group
focuses on Microsoft Outlook which is part of Microsoft Office.

ps - only thing i remember about this comes from 2 yrs ago that there was a
problem with imghelp.dll and mcafee virus scan. =
