I reinstalled xp from a cd. After the install the resolution was bad. I could not change resolution in "display" because of the monitor driver. I changed drivers and restarted pc

After I changed the monitor adapter driver, changed the resolution and restarted my pc, the screen went black. The screen goes black after displaying the windows xp screen with the blue progress bar

How do you undo a change from a black screen

Hmm, have you already tried to boot up via..." Save Mode"??

What are you using for a monitor? CRT or LCD? LCD screens must work at
their "native" resolution. Other settings cause display problems.
