resolution and color settings

I had to do a clean install of windows 2000 pro at that
point I lost the ability to change the resolution and
color settings higher than 800 by 600 and 16 colors. Any
help would be appreciated thanks.
 
Drivers for yr specific model vid.card, from either set up disks or graphics
card manu.site, NOT winupdate
