The other day, I had my laptop hooked up to an external monitor and
resized windows so that they wouldn't take up the full screen on the
external monitor. After having disconnected that monitor, whenever I
try to resize select applications, they seem to go to the other
nonexistant screen. As a consequence, I'm pretty much forced to use
these applications in their "full screen" mode which I'd rather not do.
Is there any way to remedy this without rebooting or plugging an
external monitor back in?
