What is the combination of keys to press to resize the
DOS window from the small window when DOS starts to a
larger window?
Thanks

Alt-Enter will toggle full screen (if that is what you were asking).

Hi, Joe.

Same as it's always been: Alt+Enter Press it again to toggle it back to
the previous size.

You can change several permanent settings for the "DOS" window if you like
by right-clicking on the Command Prompt icon and clicking Properties. Since
there are several different ways to invoke the "DOS" window (Quick Launch
icon; Desktop shortcut icon; Start | All programs menu...), you may need to
set Properties from more than one. And you may want different settings for
one or more programs that run in a "DOS" window.

follow this path:
--start button
--all programs
--accessories
--command prompt
when window opens right-click the gray title bar
--select properties
--click layout tab
change setting in window size
make any other changes
neat to have white background with black text.
--ok to exit
