Resizing charts

I am unable to deselect the Sized with Window option when trying to resize a
chart in Excel. Does anyone know how to get around this? I have also tried
changing the sized with window option in the Options tab under chart, but it
does not stay unselected after I hit OK.

I am not trying to resize the chart for printing - I want
to be able to zoom in and out on the chart while I work
with it. But regardless, I have not set up my laptop for
printing yet, so no, no default printer installed.

Thanks! I installed a printer and changed the chart
options in page setup - now I am good to go!

Some of these settings are more tightly linked to attached hardware than you'd expect, a legacy
from the days when you had to reboot the whole system after plugging in a new mouse.

All you have to do is install any printer, and this setting will work fine.
