Resize Browser Window - IE on XP with SP2

George Moore

I've just installed IE on XP with SP2. I'm having
problems getting the Explorer window to resize to maximum
automatically. I'm getting a two inch width window. Is
this a know problem with SP2 or can someone tell me how to
fix this problem.

In Explorer help it says to:
"Use Windows display settings on Web page controls
In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet
Options. On the Advanced tab, select the Use Windows
display settings on Web page controls check box."

This "Use Windows display settings on Web page controls"
isn't a option.

Thanks

Thank You, George

Fixed by resizing with the two ended arrows, did not use
maximize. The orginal window and closed and then reopened
maximized.

Close all windows EXCEPT the one that opens "minimized";
right click on
your Task Bar, either on the open space on the right or
left end (your
choice); select "Tile Windows Horizontally" and IE will
maximize; close IE.
Re-open IE and it will be maximized.
