resize autoShape to fit text grayed out

I am trying to help someone who created an Org chart in
PP 2002 (Win XP). The text is spilling out of the boxes,
so I went to format autoshape, text box and was going to
select the resize autoshape to fit text field but it's
grayed out and you cannot select it! Any ideas of what
I'm doing wrong?

You might try turning off the autolayouts on the Org Chart toolbar and
then see if the resize autoshape option is available.

Thanks Echo. Unfortunately that didn't do it. I even
created a brand new org chart and it's grayed out on all
mine.
