Resetting motion paths

How can I reset motion paths on a hyperlinked slide after it has been shown
once if during a slideshow the same hyperlinked slide is shown again? OK,
complicated question so I will try to explain it further:

- start slide show
- first slide shown has a hyperlinked object on it (the object hyperlinks to
a hidden slide in the same presentation)
- click the hyperlinked object on this first slide (slideshow displays the
second slide that has objects with motion paths)
- Motion paths are shown normally, in this case an object moves to an end
point on the slide
- I click another hyperlinked object on this second slide which then
re-displays the first slide
- I then click the same hyperlinked object on this first slide which then
shows the second slide again

But now, the second slide is shown with the motion path already executed.

My question - is there a way to reset the second slide so that the motion
path begins again from the start as if the slide is shown for the first time?

If you are using PowerPoint 2003, update to the latest service pack.
Alternately, create a dummy slide before the actual slide you are going to
link to. Click Slide Show > Slide Transition. Set to advance automatically
(00:00).
Now, when you hyperlink, link it to the dummy slide.
