Resetting guessing of names

Good day,

Is there a way to reset the suggested name/e-mail address that pops
up when typing recipients names in the To: field of an e-mail?

I do not wish to simply turn off the feature entirely, as is
documented in the help file. It is problematic for an e-mail address of a
colleague has changed and Outlook does not "learn" that there is a new
e-mail address for this person. Contacts is my principle address source (as
opposed to Windows Address Book or other address book options). All
references to the old e-mail address have been deleted from Contacts.

Outlook doesn't do lookups to your address book(s) when doing autocomplete -
it relies on a cache of previously used addresses. If it's just for a few
people, when you get the dropdown menu suggesting the names, use the arrow
key to scroll down/select the one you don't want, and hit the delete key.
