resetting default windows pic viewer

Somehow my comp. is using a cheesy quicktime viewer for my dig. pics., can
anyone tell me how to change the default back to the windows viewer?

Right click on one of the images, choose "open with", and select Choose Program. Then in the window, choose "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer", then check the box, "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file", and Apply/OK on the way out.

First go to Control Panel - QuickTime (it is Apple's product) and on its
and uncheck the Windows File types; Internet file types, and 'let me
know. . . '

Then Start - Run the line
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll
