reset group policies to default and remove restrictions

due to a virus attack, my computer is behaving very erratically. it shows a lot of restrictions are there including restrictions on accessing the hard disk drive.
i have removed one such restrictions by using gpedit.msc.
however, there may be many more restrictions inplace which would continue to cretae problem for me.
hence please advise me on how to remove all such restrictions and reset my computer to default state.
